Description
ARAMARK is seeking a Behavioral Health Dietitian to provide medical nutrition therapy to patients in behavioral health settings. In this role, you will complete nutrition assessments, develop and monitor individualized care plans, and collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, and foodservice teams to support recovery and overall well‑being. You will lead nutrition education groups, address eating-related behaviors, and ensure menus meet clinical, cultural, and regulatory standards. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans
Provide group and individual nutrition education focused on behavior change
Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, and foodservice staff on treatment plans
Ensure menus and meal services meet clinical, cultural, and regulatory standards
Document care in the electronic medical record in a timely, accurate manner
Monitor outcomes and adjust interventions based on patient progress
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
Support quality, safety, and infection control initiatives
Contribute to program development, staff training, and continuous improvement
Medical nutrition therapy (MNT)
Behavioral health nutrition care planning
Nutritional assessment and documentation (EMR)
Menu planning and therapeutic diet design
Group and individual nutrition counseling
Motivational interviewing and behavior change techniques
Interdisciplinary care collaboration
Regulatory compliance (Joint Commission, CMS)
Food safety and sanitation standards
Data tracking, outcomes measurement, and reporting
