Aramark is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced EVS Manager to oversee the Environmental Services department within our healthcare sector. The EVS Manager will be crucial in ensuring that the facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, aligning with Aramark's dedication to service excellence and innovation. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a healthier environment for both patients and staff by managing housekeeping and infection control practices.
Lead and manage the daily operations of the environmental services department to ensure optimal cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas of the facility.
Develop and implement effective training programs for all environmental services staff to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and manage the department budget, including supplies and labor costs, to maintain financial efficiency.
Create schedules and staffing plans that ensure adequate coverage at all times and adjust as needed to meet the dynamic needs of the facility.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure the department meets established Aramark and regulatory cleanliness and safety standards.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely response to issues affecting the facility environment.
Implement and maintain proper waste disposal and infection control practices according to healthcare regulations and sustainability commitments.
Manage and resolve any personnel issues within the department, including recruitment, retention, and performance management.
Proven leadership and management skills in a healthcare or cleaning services setting
Strong understanding of cleaning techniques and infection control practices
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to develop and manage budgets
Competency in using healthcare technology and cleaning equipment
Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
